Domein
Quinta de Azevedo is een toonaangevende producent in de Vinho Verde-regio, met een balans tussen erfgoed en technologie, en een specialisatie in hoogwaardig fris wit. Het is een modern wijnhuis in de Vinho Verde-streek. Het domein beslaat zo’n 37–40 hectare en werd in 1980–1982 door Sogrape overgenomen en herontwikkeld met een nieuwe landhuisstructuur en hedendaagse wijnbouwtechnieken. De druiventeelt focust vooral op witte Vinho Verde, met variëteiten zoals Loureiro en Pedernã/Arinto onder verticale begeleiding van de ranken.

Vinificatie
Na ontvangst in de wijnmakerij worden de druiven ontsteeld en gekoeld voor een zachte persing bij lage temperaturen. De most wordt naar roestvrijstalen vaten gestuurd voor decantering en alcoholische gisting bij een temperatuur van 14-15 ºC. Voor het persen ondergaat een deel van de partij een voorfermentatie-maceratie van maximaal 2 dagen bij lage temperaturen.
Rijping op de gistresten in roestvrijstalen vaten, met batonnage gedurende 3 maanden.

Het profiel van deze wijn maakt hem geschikt voor visgerechten, sushi, verse salades, zeevruchten en voorgerechten. Met zijn frisse en uitbundige karakter kan hij ook per glas worden gedronken.
