Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to a Deep Patina

This sculpture is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, which captures every surface detail of the original model before the bronze is poured, cooled and hand-chased by skilled finishing craftsmen. The result is a smooth dark bronze with a deep black-brown patina, consistent across the saint, horse and dragon in a way that unifies the composition visually. The scale and weight of the piece demand this level of craft, and every surface you can see at ground level has been worked by hand.
