By reducing the distance your hand travels between shifts, it creates a tighter, more connected driving experience while maintaining the functionality of your factory transmission. It's a simple way to improve the feel of your truck every time you get behind the wheel.

Designed as a direct replacement for your factory ZF5 shift tower, this kit installs without welding or permanent modifications. The assembly features a billet aluminum housing, cage, and top hat along with Delrin bushings, shims, hardened precision-ground dowels, and a billet steel stem with an integrated reverse lockout tab for long-lasting durability and smooth operation. The kit includes installation hardware, but you will need to reuse the detent from your factory tower. RTV sealant such as The Right Stuff is recommended during installation.

Your factory inner seal boot can be reused or replaced if needed, making installation straightforward for most ZF5 owners. Each short throw shifter is custom built by Diesels and Dirtbags and typically requires a 2-3 week processing time before shipment.
