Central Hat Section
Crafted from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for exceptional strength.
Disc Material
Proprietary cast iron, meticulously poured and machined in the USA at Girodisc’s facility.
Design
Incorporates a curved vane design, derived from racing technology, to function as a centrifugal pump, enhancing cooling airflow through the disc.
Floating Mount System
Features 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, custom-manufactured by Girodisc and cadmium plated for lasting corrosion resistance. These pins absorb braking forces while allowing axial and radial float between the hat and disc. Secured with class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers.
Anti-Noise Technology
Equipped with anti-noise spring washers to accommodate heat expansion and minimize noise, ensuring smooth operation and self-centering between the pads.
Maintenance
After installing the Girodisc system, simply replace the cast iron rotor as needed. Sold/priced per pair.
