Cooking Method:
Thawing: Remove the Chilean Seabass Cod Steak from the freezer and let it thaw in the refrigerator overnight or for about 6-8 hours. For quicker thawing, place the sealed steak package in cold water for 1-2 hours.
Cooking:
- Grilling: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the seabass with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill for 4-5 minutes on each side until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Pan-Seared: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Sear the seabass for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Baking: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the seabass on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.

Steaming: Place the seabass in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam for 10-12 minutes until the fish is tender and cooked through.
