Bilstein Black Hawk Powersports coilovers are specifically engineered to vastly improve the performance of your UTV. These direct fit coilovers offer position sensitive damping and 4-way adjustability, all features that will take your UTV to the next level. Black Hawk Powersports feature Bilstein’s patented ZoneControl position sensitive technology that contains 5 independently tuned damping zones; 3 Compression and 2 Rebound. ZoneControl incorporates an internal Jounce Cut Off system (JCO) which is effectively a 2-Stage hydraulic bump stop. The JCO has a 10-position clicker that allows the rider to fine tune bottom out control. For Rebound, ZoneControl features a Rebound Cut Off (RCO) that acts to settle the vehicle at the final stage of suspension droop. The RCO will protect the damper, eliminating the need for a limit strap. Black Hawk Powersports offer 4 unique external adjustments; High/Low speed compression, rebound, and JCO. All easily accessible and ready for quick damping changes on the fly. Bilstein Black Hawk powersports are an all-aluminum design with gold finned reservoirs. All applications come with Dual Rate Coils and crossover nuts for easy ride height and spring preload adjustments. Looks terrific - great price
I needed to replace just one, but ended up using both the left and right so that they matched. In the closeup picture you can see that the original part is chrome with black on the inside edges of the fins, where the replacement is all chrome. This is only obvious up close if you're looking for it. There is also a slight gap in the fit at the lower inside corner - so not perfect, but also not noticable at any reasonable distance. Wide shots shows both replacement parts installed.
As others have mentioned, this is not the same quality as the original BMW part - but at 1/4 of the price, it is a darn good value and has restored the look of my car.
FOR 2003 CONVERTIBLE OWNERS: This part fits the "pre-facelift" model manufactured through March 2003. I learned this the hard way, because I didn't know about the facelift that came half a year later for cabriolets than it did for hard top models. Make sure you know which side of that manufacturing date your 2003 convertible is on before ordering.

Buy OEM
Finish is fine but sizing is wrong and these don't fit tight but rattle. About 3/4" movement in all ways, which will lead to scratched paint.
If you've got a beater, these are fine but for my clean M3, I'll buy OEM from FCP or Turner.
