It's all about the details! With a tapered crown with horizontal band and sweet stitch detail on the brim, our Explorer Classic Bucket hats are a style step up from the usual bucket hat! Light and cool on heads, kids will barely notice they're wearing a hat! Made from 100% eco-friendly linen which can self-cool in summer and warm in winter, the Explorer hat provides UPF50+ sun protection without overheating heads. The wide brims shield eyes and faces all year round, while the woven interfacing and thin cord edge in the brim gives a little more flexibility and shape without flopping in eyes.

Fully reversible with a pattern on one side and a coordinating solid colour on the other, you get two hats for the price of one. Adjustable ties at the back of the crown allow the perfect fit to be achieved, and elasticated straps tie under chins to keep hats in place. The elastic in the ties allows stretch and comfort, and ensures the ties aren't too tight.

We can’t stop designing striped hats! This time they’re tiny lines of blue paired with neutral flax for a fresh summery feel. Available in Flap Hat, Sun Bonnet, Classic Bucket, Ladies Sun Hat, Adult’s Frayed Bucket and Ladies Wide-Brimmed Visor.

Our Explorer hats coordinate beautifully with our Heritage Flap Hats, Bonnets and Adult hats for a matchy-matchy look across ages.

Best suited to: Independent kids on the move - perfect for outdoor adventures!

    Size Advice and Brim Depth:

No two heads are the same, so it's always best to measure your child's head to get the ideal fit.

Step 1: Distract the child with a toy or food (so they don't try to help you!).

Step 2: Use a measuring tape to take the measurement. Otherwise, use a ribbon to take the size then use a ruler to find the measurement.

Step 3: Choose a hat size with the smallest measurement closest to your child's head measurement. Our Explorer Panelled Bucket Hats have adjustable ties in the crown to get the perfect fit to your child's head size with a 4cm range in each hat. By choosing the smallest size of the range, you will get the most wear out of it.

FOR EXAMPLE: If your child's head measures 51cm, you will want the 50-54cm hat to ensure plenty of future wear. If your child's head is measuring 53cm, it's best to go to the 54-58cm as you can pull in the ties to make the hat size 54cm.

    Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
    Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

    Useful with some scientific corroboration
    Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).

Simple and streamlined to meet anyone's needs
    Format: Paperback
This book rocks! It provide a simple and structured way to define, develop and deliver a "Kick Ass" presentation that you can project or just use from the podium. It bring the audio and visual together to compliment a story to be shared. It has taken the hassel factor out of designing a presentation for anyone on any subject. Thank you!

    Lasting value but degraded presentation
    Format: Paperback
I've been a BBP fan since the first edition in 2005. The second edition in 2007 was a significant update and refinement. The latest, 2011 edition, is not worth buying if you already have the second edition -- the information is essentially the same but the 2011 is printed on cheap paper and the contrast between text and background for most of the illustrations is lousy, e.g. black text on a dark grey background, white text on a light grey background. I found it very difficult to read. The online version (O'Reilly Safari Books OnLine) is slightly better because it allows you to magnify the low contrast images which makes them slightly more legible. Thankfully, access to the online version is included with the ink-on-paper book free via a scratch-off, lottery ticket-type insert at the back of the book. If I had to do it again, I'd skip the paper book from Amazon and just purchase electronic access via O'Reilly. This version is more legible and you can print important pages that you might want hard copies of to highlight, mark-up, etc.
