The Rotor is an evolution of our two compact, 1950s-inspired ‘Diabolo’ lights. A graceful and subtle wall light that is especially tailored to reading corners and bedsides thanks to its adjustable 180-rotating base. A simple and functional yet elegantly mobile design.

Influential architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s idiosyncratic balance of decorative geometric motifs with organic, floral references informs this collection’s new mosaic-style pattern, Frieze, which is available in Brick, Clove and Limestone. Two new block colourways, Marsh and Lichen, complete the capsule, with the colour palette also inspired by the work of pioneering mid-century textile designer, Lucienne Day.

The moulded paper-pulp shade and base is hand-painted in a choice of finishes, four plains and one pattern. Paper pulp is a natural material with its own idiosyncrasies and imperfections. The highly tactile surface created by the pulp is an eco-friendly equivalent to ceramic or plaster. The choice of an organic material adds character and texture to your interior.
