小林節正と甲斐一彦によるコンセプトライン「Ph」スタート。 「MOUNTAIN RESEARCH」小林節正氏と「BAMBOO SHOOTS」甲斐一彦によるコンセプトライン 「Ph」が2021SSよりスタートしました。

甲斐一彦が敬愛する小林節正氏は目黒川のほとりで26年、「ジェネラルストア」を営んできた、言わば中目黒の大先輩でもあります。

師弟のような関係の2人がモチーフとしたのは共通で愛聴しているアメリカのジャムバンド「Phish」。 Phishのファンは、「Phan(ファン)」と呼ばれ、「F」の文字をPhishの「Ph」に置換することは 自分たちの居場所を表すための言葉遊びとして世界中のPhanたちに親しまれている表現です。 遡ること1968年。

アポロ8号による人類初の月周回飛行を行った宇宙飛行士、ウィリアム・アーンダースが 月の向こう側に浮かぶ地球を写真に収めました。

自分たちの世界を外の世界から見た初めての光景。それは「パラレルにもうひとつの世界がある」という概念につながりました。

プロテスタントの教養でがんじがらめにされてきた60年代、がんじがらめにされた大人の社会からの脱却。 これまでの世界から、新たな世界へ。

自由への強烈な欲求や喜びが爆発した70年代。 果てしない自由を追い求めた70年代にわたしたちは、憧れるのです。

もしもPHISHヘッズだけの国があったら。

FINLANDではなくPHINLAND。

国旗のデザインをあしらったPhのロゴを左胸にプリント。 ボディにはアメリカを代表するルーズなシルエットのコーチジャケット。

Freedom From Fear #1 was one of the most interesting and informational books I've ever read. Part Two was interesting but I did not learn much more about the war than I had known before other than the fact that, while Japan lost the war, Anglo-Saxons are no longer in control in the Far East. I somewhat disagree with his ending ideas about the "good" war, that it wasn't so "good" after all in it's outcome. However, those who fought in it and their families would probably disagree.
