Now that you have lifted your Jeep Wrangler JL and fitted it with larger wheels and tires, you need a way to bring a spare tire along. The Teraflex Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit has you covered. This fully adjustable heavy-duty tire mount is designed to hold up to a 39” tire. With a fully bolt on installation and quick-detach third brake light, this mount could not be easier to use. To accommodate the factory backup camera, Teraflex designed a billet aluminum camera mount. The tire mount kit features strong materials and a heavily gusseted design for added rigidity.
Vehicle Specific: To accommodate the Jeep Wrangler JL’s factory back-up camera, Teraflex includes an aluminum camera mount. The quick detach third brake light bracket relocates the factory brake light to just above the camera. This spare tire mount is compatible with both two and four door JL Wranglers, and it fits with both factory and aftermarket bumpers.
Heavy-Duty Design: Teraflex uses a combination of sturdy materials for their Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting kit. The adjuster is made from strong and lightweight A356.2 T6 cast aluminum, the spare tire mount is formed and welded from CNC laser cut steel, and the camera mount is milled from hard-anodized billet aluminum.
Adjustable: The Teraflex Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit is both vertically and horizontally adjustable. It can fit up to a 39” tire, and has the standard Jeep Wrangler JL 5x5 bolt pattern.
User Friendly: Installation is a breeze, and can be done with regular hand tools in under an hour. No cutting, drilling, or other modifications are required. The Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit retains the factory tailgate operation.
Torture Tested: This mount is finished in OEM Quality UV resistant powder coat. The Teraflex Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit is designed to withstand a 1,000-hour extreme salt spray test, and a 14,000-cycle severe duty slam test.
