The Black Mountain Crunch Drive is yet another incredibly responsive and versatile overdrive from our friends at Greer Amps. It was designed to chase crunchy, UK tones originating in the metal-panel amplifiers we’re all familiar with, and it sure did catch them. Its mid-range shines through in the sonic spotlight, snarling, growling, and howling through the mix. However, it’s no one-trick-pony. Dialed things down for more transparent tones, or go full throttle, dimed out for searing hot signal. You can even choose between 9-18V DC power based on the head room you’re looking for. On the inside, two purposefully imbalanced clipping diodes work together in order to deliver the British-inspired drive of your dreams for favorite guitar and amp combination, or bass, too.
