Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.060". Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for todays high output engines and require no sealants. MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.This Part Fits:

Airedale tough!

We have two young Airedale Terriers and I thought this would be a good inside toy for them to tug. And I was right! Very happily so. I have to admit I was surprised when I first saw it; it seemed so small. But the thing stretches and springs back to shape. We’ve had it about 2 weeks now and it is constantly played with. Absolutely the best toy! Very interactive either alone (it rolls) or with us or they play together. I am surprised how tough it is with all the constant rough play. Highly recommend!!!

Small, but twisty and fun looking. Seems relatively sturdy, though doesn't look indestructible at all.

SLIGHTLY disappointed because I thought this was bigger than it is. If you squish it all in close, it's maybe one and a half times the size of a tennis ball. (Of course, the size is probably listed; I think I just assumed, so my fault.) That being said, it's entertainingly twisty and squishy, though the rubber seems relatively sturdy. I'm not yet positive if it will hold up to the 8 month retriever/lab mix it's intended for; he tends to rip instantly through anything much less sturdy than kong natural rubber. But it seems like something that will amuse him, so we're going to give it a shot at Christmas.
