Part of Gretsch's Professional Collection, the Broadkaster Jr. LX is a daring semi-hollow for any player to get into. Arched laminated maple makes up this Broadkaster's body alongside a newly designed Channel Core center block made from maple and spruce. Enhancing the guitar's overall projection and attack, this center block is a pivotal improvement to the classic center block formula.
From here, this Gretsch moves on to a Standard "U"-shaped maple neck paired with a twelve-inch ebony fingerboard. Together, these two components make this guitar seamlessly playable for fast and fluid riffs. Twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets feature pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays for a classy visual element.
Aligning with the body's newly designed center block, this Gretsch loads in two Pro Twin Six humbucking pickups. These two humbuckers produce plenty of punch and heat to slice through mixes and make statements onstage. Wired with individual volume controls for each pickup, a treble bleed circuit, and a no-load tone control with a Squeezebox capacitor, these electronics are deep and offer a wide spectrum of tones to sift through.
Playability of these pickups is enhanced with a striking hardware setup. A string-thru Bigsby B7GP vibrato tailpiece lands alongside an Adjusto-Matic bridge for sturdy intonation with deep vibrato bends on tap. Gotoh locking tuners align at the scale's opposite end with a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, ensuring precise intonation. This Gretsch travels with an included G6241JR hardshell case for bringing this semi-hollow anywhere and everywhere.
