The Flag Tail Panda Corydoras, scientifically known as Hoplisoma oiapoquense, is a small, peaceful freshwater catfish prized for its striking appearance and active personality. This beautiful cory species features a creamy white body with black patches, similar to the well-known Panda Corydoras, but stands out with a distinctive black-and-white striped tail fin, earning it the name “Flag Tail.”
Perfect for community aquariums, this bottom-dweller grows to around 2 to 2.5 inches (5–6 cm) and thrives in groups of six or more. Known for their gentle temperament and cleaning habits, they sift through substrate in search of food, helping to keep the tank clean.
