This all begins with a Revstar series double-cutaway chambered mahogany body and maple top. Yamaha's exclusive Acoustic Design chambering process chambers much of the guitar's body for increased resonance and an overall lighter feel over the shoulder. A satin-finished, carbon-reinforced, three-piece mahogany neck contributes strength and stability to the overall model as to ensure a solid playing feel. Rosewood makes up its fingerboard with a speedy, twelve-inch radius and twenty-two Jumbo stainless steel frets.

At its heart, this Chris Buck signature features two specially-voiced VP5n Custom P-90 pickups. These single-coil, Alnico III-wired P-90s punch in with massive tone for playing soft and smooth to bright and punchy. Kept sturdy with a great hardware setup, the Chris Buck Revstar features a PPS nut, die-cast tuning machines, and a TonePros AVT2 wraparound bridge.
