Hot glass, cool character. Meet the Gobi Series, a refined set of pressed glass espresso cups and cappuccino mugs, designed in close collaboration with Dutch designer Roderick Vos. Minimalist in form, rich in story. Each set includes two cups or mugs and a universal saucer that fits both. The shape is timeless, the color – a soft jade green. Serene and modern. But what really sets Gobi apart is the craft behind it. Inspired by the legacy of Andries Copier and the glass traditions of 1950s Leerdam, Vos translates old-world technique into a new classic. Molten glass at 1,200°C is dropped into custom iron molds to form elegant curves, bold cylinders and perfectly arched handles. The result? A collection built to be used and admired. Now, and 20 years from now. As Roderick says himself: "Extraordinary design needs to be well thought out. That takes time – and intention. Gobi is designed to be used, enjoyed, and cherished.”
