This limited-edition artifact is a genuine stator ring from a 747 auxiliary power unit (APU) that has been converted into a mirror. The APU is a small gas turbine engine that provides the power needed to start the main engines and run other systems while the main engines are off. The stators, or stationary airfoils, in a jet turbine engine control airflow through the rotor blades. This titanium alloy piece has been refurbished, polished, given a hand-applied bronze finish, and fitted with a high-quality reflective mirror for display on home or office wall. Certificate of Authenticity included. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from photograph. Measures 13.5" in diameter x 2.5" thick. Weighs approximately 5 lb. Great for busy feet

My five-year-old daughter loves these Skechers slip-ins—and she is not easy on her shoes! You can see in the photo, she’s already put plenty of miles on them. They’ve been through the washing machine at least twice and still look great—the bright colors are a big hit with her and they hold up well in the wash.
One of the elastic bands on top did come loose, but I was able to fix it quickly with a dab of superglue. She slips them on and off all by herself, which is perfect as we’re still learning to tie laces. All in all, a great purchase for the price—especially since kids grow so fast and put their shoes through a lot!
