DESCRIPTIONS: This striking designer garment commands attention with its vivid chartreuse hue and luxurious raised tapestry texture, creating depth and dimension that feel sculptural. Its couture-inspired silhouette elevates the piece beyond fashion into wearable art, echoing the bold creativity of the art-to-wear movement. Every detail—from the intricate weave to the architectural shape—speaks to craftsmanship and design innovation from this well-known Canadian designer.

HISTORY: In the latter half of the 20th century, Jim Pope emerged as one of Canada’s most respected fashion designers. Known for his refined silhouettes and luxurious fabrics, Pope catered to a sophisticated clientele who valued timeless elegance. His work helped define Toronto as a vibrant hub for Canadian fashion, contributing to an era when craftsmanship and style were paramount. Today, his designs stand as a testament to mid-century Canadian couture—pieces that embody grace, quality, and the artistry of a designer who shaped a generation of style.

Emerging in the latter half of the 20th century, the art-to-wear movement redefined fashion as a form of artistic expression. Designers embraced unique textiles and avant-garde silhouettes, creating garments that blurred the boundaries between clothing and sculpture. These statement pieces were not just worn—they were experienced—celebrating individuality and the fusion of craft, design, and fine art.

Great for toy destroyers!
Color: blue
Got a destructive dog? These are the best toys ever! Our girl gets at least a week or sometimes 2 out of each toy. She can destroy a typical dog toy in under 30 min. She loves these!! BIG PLUS.... no fluff to clean up!!!!
