The M60 combined a highly accurate gun with state-of-the-art rangefinders and ballistic computers to help gunners land their shots on target.
Infra-Red
Thanks to an infra-red searchlight and periscopes for the gunner, the chances of American forces getting the first shot during battles at night were significantly improved.
