ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Like all ICON'S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061 billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. Nice, simple ingredients. Very tasty. Amazon seriously needs to stop using fragranced packaging. It is highly toxic to both people and pets, and it ruins the product because the stink never comes out.

They're selling near-expired, bad product gone sour

I ordered these in bulk for the second time in a few years. The initial order showed up as-presented. The recent order could not be farther than what these are advertised to be.
At first, it appeared they changed their product. It looked different, I thought as I noted the soon-upcoming expiration date.
After trying one, I quickly realized they did not only LOOK different but also tasted sour & dry. At best, they are not storing these correctly. But even worse, I suspect Country Archer may be selling bad product intentionally to get rid of it in bulk.
Super disappointing from a company I once bought from regularly in local stores. And by the way, they do NOT stand behind their product. If you spend $60 on a bulk order that is inedible, YOU ARE STUCK WITH THEM.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A COMPANY WITH NO RELIABILITY
(sorry for all the angry caps lock but they really do need to resolve the issues presented in the many low-rated reviews, as any good business would do)
