Gatefold double LP (red/black marble vinyl), padded inner sleeves, and protection sleeve (400 copies available). The colour of every FEN album points towards it's lyrical and musical content.

For the first time in their career, the East Anglian post-black metal trio has used the colour red on the cover artwork of their seventh full-length "Monuments to Absence". FEN describe the album as an expression of anger, hopelessness and despair - anger at the desperate futility of a human species hell-bent on self-destruction.

This is reflected in the decidedly harsh and black sound of "Monuments to Absence", which is undoubtedly FEN's most extreme recording to date, even though there are still moments of atmospheric glory, spatial clean sections, heaving doom, and full-blown riffs, which augment the furious expression of rage. FEN took their name from the Fen's of East Anglia when the trio formed in 2006.

These desolate and bleak landscapes have left a deep mark in the post-black metal sound, which the band pioneered in the UK when the English scene revitalised in the wake of forerunners FOREFATHER with bands such as FEN, WINTERFYLLETH, and WODENSTHRONE coming to the fore.

When FEN released their debut full-length "The Malediction Fields" (2009), the band made good on the huge promise of their previous EP "Ancient Sorrow" (2007) by delivering a first album that already combined the black metal tradition elegantly with a dedicated atmospheric twist and gentle experimentation beyond the perceived narrow confines of their genre.

With each following full-length, from "Epoch" (2011), via "Dustwalker" (2012), "Carrion Skies" (2014), "Winter" (2017) to "The Dead Light" (2019), FEN have expanded both their musical range and following, while also perfecting their recognisable and unmistakable sound. "Monuments to Absence" marks FEN's welcome return to a dark and fierce sound.

We LOVE these!!
Hands down the BEST dog toy we've found!! I have two pitbulls that are aggressive chewers and players.. we've had these about a month and they play with them everyday. Ordered two..still have two! They don't even have teeth marks in them. The durability is like nothing I've seen before. We've done name brand boxes specifically for bully breeds that are rather expensive, bought name brand toys that are also expensive..all broken or destroyed in a matter of a day, if that. For the price these are totally worth it! We'll be buying more down the road! I think these might actually last all summer!

Great fun for our dogs!
Style: Original
My dogs can’t get enough of this very noisy ball. We have one outside and one in their playroom. It is very noisy. It is very hard. So, I’d say a room with fine furniture is not the place for it. Ours bang it around pretty good. Our boxer did split one, biting it. But, she’s a serious chewer! Our other dog carries it around sometimes but hasn’t been able to damage it yet. So, I’d say for most chewers it’s going to last a long time. It’s a great toy but in most households I’d say basement or outside. Again, it’s hard and did ding a few baseboards.

Superb!
Style: Original
My dog absolutely loves this ball. It's too big for him to fit all the way in his mouth, so it's held up pretty well and still makes the sounds.

Durable, Rugged, Dog Approved Fun!!
Style: Original, Style: Original
This thing is durable and worth every penny! I bought this over 5 years ago for my rescue and he STILL loves it. He plays with it near daily and it's got a LOT of love-work scrapes, scratches, and scuffs. But it still works perfectly!! Because he's on the medium side, he can't quite bite down on it. Not sure how it'd hold up to heavy chewers with larger mouths. But he can play with this solo for ages and has SO MUCH fun. We love to listen to his "conversations" as he gets into it with this ball. It's been a winner since the day we took it out of the box. It's also the longest lasting toy we still have! Everything else either wore out, was destroyed, or broke. This battery-free ball has made the cut for us.
