Discover an in-depth exploration of Soviet public culture in 'Thank You, Comrade Stalin!'. This influential historical study by Jeffrey Brooks delves into the overwhelming influence of state propaganda between the Russian Revolution and the Cold War. Brooks meticulously analyzes the role of prominent Russian newspapers such as Pravda, Isvestiia, and Red Star, revealing how these outlets perpetuated an idealized image of the Communist Party and Joseph Stalin himself. With the Communist leaders establishing a monopoly over the media, literature, and art, the narrative of gratitude towards Stalin and the state pervaded everyday life, shaping the perspectives of citizens. This compelling research uncovers the systematic glorification of Stalin's achievements, the portrayal of Soviet prosperity, and defensive narratives against the capitalist West. This trade paperback published by Princeton University Press in 2001 provides vital insight into how propaganda transformed national identity and public discourse during pivotal historical moments, including World War II. 'Thank You, Comrade Stalin!' not only offers a rigorous examination of Soviet ideology but also serves as a reflective piece on the power dynamics between government and the media. Ideal for history scholars and enthusiasts, this book translates complex historical contexts into accessible narratives, making it an essential addition to any collection focused on Soviet history, political propaganda, and media studies.Shipping Notes

Love these toothbrushes! The bristles are extra soft and comfortable, making them gentle on gums but still effective for cleaning. The overall quality is excellent, and they’re a solid pick for both adults and kids. Highly recommend for everyday brushing!

Lovely dense and soft.
Color: Multi Color
Perfect toothbrush.
I’ve always loved a super stiff toothbrush, it just felt right, like scrubbing the grime off. BUT, I ended up scrubbing my gums into recession. So I’ve had to buy soft toothbrushes.
For years I’ve hated them. Waterpik, floss then brush and the brushing felt always felt like I wasn’t doing anything. I disliked everything about the bristles.
These were bought on a whim, they’re pretty and have four which is how many I needed to replace everyone’s toothbrushes.
I LOVE these. They’re definitely soft, in a way I haven’t felt before and can’t really articulate, but they’re also dense. There are a lot of bristles. The bristles feel like I’m getting my teeth very clean, like they’re getting into all the little areas they need to.
The only issue I have is they squeak a little and that can be annoying.

My New Go-To for Gentle Everyday Care!
Color: White
I’ve been loving my Boka Classic Manual Toothbrush, it’s truly transformed my brushing routine! 🪥 The extra-soft, activated-charcoal-infused bristles feel so gentle yet effective, especially along the gumline. They clean thoroughly without scratching or irritating sensitive gums, which has made a noticeable difference in comfort and overall oral health.

Get Yourself A Bright White Smile
Can't belive how great this works. You can actually see the staining it removes when you expel to rinse. A bit messy to use all be it being a powder. The taste isn't bad. I believe this works better than the whitening stripe, which to me are difficult to use. Gentle on your gums and teeth. I do not recommend and do not believe the manufacture does either to use on a daily basis. A bit pricey but so are the whitening strips. For a bright white smile I recommend this product.

Easy to Use and No Bad Taste
I really like this whitening powder, it’s easy to use and fits nicely into my routine. It works well as an alternative to regular toothpaste, and the process feels simple and quick.
One of the best things is that there’s no bad taste. It has a mild, clean flavor that makes it comfortable to use daily, even if you’re sensitive to strong or overpowering mint products.
After using it consistently, it seems to be working my teeth look a bit brighter, and it feels gentle enough for sensitive teeth without causing discomfort.
Minor note: Since it’s a powder, it can feel a little different at first compared to traditional toothpaste, but it’s easy to get used to.
Overall, this is a convenient and gentle whitening option that’s easy to stick with. A great choice if you want something effective without harsh taste or sensitivity.
