The instrument's neck, constructed from quarter sawn maple, features a '60 J Bass "U" profile, designed for a comfortable playing experience. The fingerboard, with a 7. 25" radius, is fitted with 20 vintage style frets and inlaid with black opaque block markers. String spacing is optimized via a 1. 5" bone nut.

This Fender Custom Shop '68 J-Bass is constructed from a two-piece alder body, meticulously shaped to the classic '68 Jazz Bass silhouette. The instrument's neck, constructed from quarter sawn maple, features a '60 J-Bass "U" profile, designed for a comfortable playing experience. The fingerboard, with a 7.25" radius, is fitted with 20 vintage style frets and inlaid with black opaque block markers. String spacing is optimized via a 1.5" bone nut. The electronic configuration includes handwound Vintage J-Bass pickups, wired to a '64 J-Bass control layout, comprising dual volume and a master tone control.

The instrument showcases a Journeyman Relic Aged Black finish, exhibiting intentional cosmetic aging, including simulated dings, dents, finish checking, and hardware patina. The bass's playability and sonic performance are noted to be of high caliber. The original hard-shell case is included.
