Bumping in for an unprecedented, hands-on analog drum machine experience, we've got the Arturia DrumBrute Impact! The DrumBrute Impact, Arturia's evolution on analog drum synthesis, punches in with fresh, authentic, rounded, thumping drum tones to get down-and-dirty with. Arturia's high-fidelity analog drum sounds, hands-on playability, and seamless workflow make the DrumBrute Impact a knockout in any scenario.

One of Arturia's starring players, the DrumBrute Impact offers an unprecedented level of playability and accessibility for both newcomers and veterans to drum machines. The DrumBrute Impact summons its authentic, bassy voice with ten discrete drum instrument tracks including kicks, snares, hi-hats, cowbells, and FM synthesis tones. These instruments are shaped through an incredibly player-friendly and hands-on interface that operates with tangible buttons and knobs to shape sounds as you see fit. A sixteen-step sequencer with sixteen corresponding step buttons makes quick work of drum sequencing for the immediacy of feedback with light-up steps, allowing you to visually track your compositions in real-time. This very hands-on and user-friendly interface brings the immediacy and playability of classic drum machines to the modern day.

The DrumBrute's analog sounds are shaped through a vast array of tone-shaping knobs. Clearly delineated for each instrument track, the DrumBrute can shape drum pitches, decays, and tones on an individualized basis alongside dedicated volume levels. What this all adds up to is a mixing experience that responds instantly and with accuracy for, once again, the immediacy for live performance, jamming, and experimenting. Further playability features on the DrumBrute Impact include a push tap tempo, a swing and shift control, and a randomness dial that introduces randomness into patterns on an incremental basis.

Arturia backs up its DrumBrute Impact – and by extension, its players – with a reliable setup of connections for integration into bigger rigs. MIDI five-pin in and out connections open the DrumBrute to be controlled via MIDI signals while 1/8" clock sync in and out connections slip it into time-synced rigs seamlessly. A 1/8" headphone out brings the tones of the DrumBrute for silent practice like a USB MIDI connection taps the DrumBrute into your favorite DAW for MIDI music production.

As one of modern drumming's most player-friendly machines, the DrumBrute Impact delivers on spontaneity and the excitement of quick creative feedback loops. Drop in with the DrumBrute and make an impact.

Still Usefil for a Samsung S24 Ultra User
Color: Black
The Charging Pad: The pad is super flat (nearly the same thickness as the pad) and looks nice next to it or a similar mouse and keyboard pad. It works perfectly for my Samsung S24 Ultra without a case on it, but having a 'magsafe' style case would improve the experience. You do have to take a second to get the alignment right. It uses USB-C instead of cheaping out with a micro, and the status light is helpful. I don't think I own anything that can charge in the headphone area, and in case you're wondering, neither spot will charge a Samsung smartwatch (as expected). I'd nearly recommend this just for the charging pad since it's so unobtrusive on the desk. Just remember you'll need to route that wire out of the top of it somewhere. The mouse pad: The size is probably perfect for a typical keyboard and mouse user. I always have a 3D mouse on the left, and an extra long Coursair keyboard, so I prefer having a gigantic mat for all of that. But there is one feature of this mouse pad that I like more than most. The material doesn't attract every spec of dirt and hair in the universe, and it's easy to wipe off. Because of this, I use the pad under my 3D mouse and keyboard, with a larger full-desk pad underneath (including the mouse area). The felt material on the back keeps this locked to my desk, and unlike a rubberized pad, isn't going to turn into glue after a few years. I did test my mouse on the pad, and it feels fairly good. It's not too smooth, and is a bit easier on your hand, but very serious gamers may take some time to adjust.

Smaller and more expensive than artisian deskmats
Color: Black
These are slightly smaller than the standard artisan deskmats and double the price.. It's also about half the thickness, so there's not as much padding. This isn't a huge deal. if the felt is on the bottom, it doesn't grip to the desk very well. The wireless charger is okay, but I found it bulky. Having a small dedicated 3 in 1 charging stand was more convenient for me. If you have a heaver mechanical keyboard, you won't be able to lift this thing to see underneath it. Overall, this is an okay deskmat and it'll serve it's purpose when I'm washing my regular deskmat, but not my favorite.

Don’t bother, not worth the $
Much smaller in person than it appears. Looks more like a piece of coral than a tree. I got this to display some ornaments for sale at craft fairs, but it’s so small, it looks silly with the ornaments on it. Super flimsy, made of cheap plastic. Definitely not worth $14. Will be returning.
