The Maddening Middle (OnDemand webinar)
Many writers find it relatively easy to develop detailed beginnings for their story, and detailed endings—but they struggle with the middle portion of the novel. Beginnings are exciting because of the “blank page” effect—you have total freedom to invent characters and plot elements, build worlds, and imagine clever twists. Endings can be exciting because you get to write the big climactic encounters and pay off twists you set up in the beginning.  The middle, though, is often just a huge question mark. How do you get from the exciting setup to the exciting ending? We’ll discuss how to come up with B through Y when you have A and Z figured out. This is an OnDemand webinar. ($79.99 value)

Lights, Camera, OPEN! (OnDemand webinar)
How do mega bestselling authors keep readers spellbound? Crafting a compelling chapter opening is key. If you can hook the readers with your opening paragraphs, you can hook them forever. In this interactive workshop, prolific author Michael La Ronn unveils game-changing techniques from the masters of fiction. These techniques will give your chapter openings a solid foundation that will absorb your readers and keep them reading. Once you learn these techniques, you’ll never be able to unsee them.

•            Master the 4 chapter opening types and their variations
•            Discover how to study the 1%

Analyze any chapter opening and learn how to replicate the technique in 5 minutes or less. This workshop will focus on practical techniques that you can use in your next writing session. It just might change the way you write forever. ($79.99 value)

Avoid the Sagging Middle of Your Mystery(OnDemand webinar)
The concept may be great, and your first chapter is stunning. But between the beginning and that incredible climactic ending comes a middle that makes or breaks a good novel. Learn some tricks of the trade in how to avoid the infamous, deal-breaking, sagging middle of your mystery work in progress. Learn how C. Hope Clark has mastered how to keep your story alive in each and every chapter. ($79.99 value)

How to Write an Opening That Pulls the Reader In (OnDemand Webinar)
In this OnDemand webinar, we will delve into the elements that make a great opening to your story or novel. We will analyze examples of acclaimed first lines and opening paragraphs. Writers will leave the session armed with the tools for writing a great opening that lures readers in. ($79.99 value)

Writing Satisfying Endings (OnDemand Webinar)
Hooking readers with an engaging opening is key to a great novel, just as it's important to having a middle that doesn't sag. But it's all for naught if the ending is a clunker. As such, writers need to be able to write endings that leave readers satisfied. In this OnDemand webinar, Mia P. Manasala shares what  works for her and other authors. ($79.99 value)

Conquering the Muddle in the Middle (OnDemand Webinar)
If you've hit the dreaded middle of your novel, you're facing the writing abyss that separates your great beginning from your amazing ending. To battle the muddle in the middle, Raymond Chandler once said: "bring in a man with a gun." What did he mean by that? And how can it work for you? Don't fear your novel's central abyss—USA Today best-selling and award-winning thriller author Hank Phillippi Ryan can help you get across. The middle of your novel doesn't have to be a muddle. With tips and tricks and practical advice, Hank will show you how to make it magic. ($79.99 value)

What Agents and Editors are Looking for in First Pages (OnDemand Webinar)
Writing your query is the first step to grabbing the agents' attention, however, many writers are not aware that agents sometimes go directly to the first pages to even see if the writing is something to have a closer look at. Join agent Katie Shea Boutillier to discuss in detail what we are looking for when we approach your first pages.

Katie will go step-by-step to demonstrate the importance of strong first pages, focusing on voice, tone, mood, setting, urgency, pace, description, dialogue and your natural approach to your characters. Your ultimate goal is to make sure your reader (agent, editors, and beyond) are into your work immediately, and Katie will guide you with her knowledge and experience what makes impressive first pages to readers. Correct part (Mopar MO-349) but shipping method could be improved.
Size: 1 Count, Size: 1 Count
I received what I ordered, Mopar MO-349 oil filters. However, they were shipped in what looked like an oversized paper bag and the boxes that contained the filters were crushed (see picture). They should have been shipped in a small box instead of a giant paper bag. The filters look ok but I guess I'll know for sure when I try to use them. Plus 4 stars for the product. Minus 1 star for Amazon shipping.

Two Filters, Quick and Easy
Size: 16-23 Tacoma, Size: 16-23 Tacoma
The RVgolf Engine+Cabin Air Filters Kit for the Toyota Tacoma V6 comes with two air filters. There is a cabin air filter that fits nicely into the compartment accessed through the glove box and an engine air filter that dropped in easily in the compartment under the hood. Replacement of both filters was easy, didn’t require any tools, and it took more time to empty and replace the items in the glove box than it did to replace both filters. The Toyota dealership quoted me $80 to replace the cabin air filter only. I replaced both filters for less than $30. The filters felt like they were good quality. The engine air filter is multi-layered, with a thin foam layer to keep larger debris from blocking the finer paper filter. The cabin air filter said and looked like it had a carbon layer to absorb smells. The only concern I had was size. After I had replaced both filters I went to slide the engine air filter I replaced into the RVgolf box to throw it away. The engine air filter I replaced would not slide into the RVgolf box. It was too big. After driving for a few days and a couple of hundred miles, I popped the hood and checked the fit of the engine air filter. The fit looked perfect. See attached photos.
