The dog loves it! Routinely carries it around squeaking all the way. The squeak is more like a quack and makes everyone giggle. Itโ€™s nice and big so a good match for our tall dog. The chewability of this toy from 1-10 is a 10 all day ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

I have a Boston Terrier and heโ€™s a serious extreme CHEWER! He loves this Hollypet Plush Dog Squeaky Toy Stuffed Armadillo! My doh gnaws on the tail, legs, the ears and the nose and all are still in tact. Heโ€™s had it for what I consider a long time. Usually he rips toys apart in the first day but this has been months! I throw this in the washing machine with his other stuffed animal toys simply because the ears, noses and tail get so stiff from chewing on them they need to be washed and they bounce right back just like new. Chewability from 1-10 is a 10 all day long! He plays with it a for a long while each time he uses it. Very active with his Armadillo and itโ€™s so cute and the squeaker is just right, itโ€™s not that loud screaming squeak. If he ever lost this or it got destroyed somehow? Iโ€™d buy him this all over again. Worth the money!

Fun dog toy, but not for heavy chewers

The armadillo is cute. My pittie, Sasha, was very excited to see it. She just had TPLO surgery on her left knee (she tore her ACL just before the 4th of July), and I wanted to get her something she could play with while she convalesces, that isn't a ballโ€”she really likes to run and jump and chase the ball, but with her knee out of commission, I didn't want her to get depressed being trapped in her crate while she healsโ€”with this toy, she was able to keep playing and not over excert herself and get more hurt. It quickly became her favorite toy; she chews it relentlessly and gets made when I take it from her (see below). It makes a funky squeak that's not a high-pitched squeak, like I thought it would be; it's more a low-pitched, lowing sound like a baby calf. One thing I would like to point out to other purchasers about what the description says: "Durable and Long Lasting - Made from premium soft materials, our cute plush dog toys can withstand rough play for indoor or outdoor and last for years to come. The textured surface also helps massage and soothe your dog's gums during playtime" This is a little misleading. It's a good texture and Sasha loved to play with it, but it wasn't very durable. It might be when compared to other chew toys, but not for my baby. She tore the nose off within 20 minutes of getting it. The next morning, she ripped off an ear, and I had to pull the stuffing out of the face so she wouldn't eat it while chewing away. She doesn't seem to mind, but I sure wish it had held up a little more. All-in-all, this was a good toy for a few days.

This is a fun and well-made dog toy thatโ€™s held up better than expected, especially considering my dog usually makes quick work of stuffed toys. Heโ€™s not the most aggressive chewer, but heโ€™s definitely skilled at tearing things up over time, and this one is still going strong so far. The plush armadillo design is adorable and comes in a variety of color options, which is a nice bonus. It has your standard fluff type filling, and I really appreciate that the squeaker has more of that low grunting sound (like a pig), rather than a sharp, high-pitched one. Itโ€™s much less annoying to listen to during playtime. The 10" size was just right for my 45 lb dog, offering a good size for tugging and carrying around. Comfortable to hold, seemingly durable so far, and cute design. Seems to be a winner, would recommend!

Perfect size, cute, reasonably durable, and my dog loves it.

I ordered this for my 2year old, 55lb Staffy Pitt mix. Sheโ€™s usually pretty rough on toys. She seems to either destroy them after 15 minutes, or, in a few instances, decides that she likes them enough to treat them more gently, in which they last for months or longer. I have no idea how she chooses, but in this case, she pretty much immediately ripped off part of an ear, but then, and since that time, has played and chewed on it without causing further damage. The toy is pretty adorable and looks and feels well made. Itโ€™s not constructed with a super durable material like some toys made for aggressive chewers are, but itโ€™s also not marketed as a toy for aggressive chewers, so the material used is appropriate. The fabric feels dense and of a high quality, and the stitching looks to be of a high quality as well. I chose the 8-inch version in pink, and Iโ€™m happy with this size. Itโ€™s not too big, nor too small, and is easily portable. It arrived smashed up in a small bag, and I thought maybe it would be deformed when I took it out, but it wasnโ€™t. It unfolded right away and then maintained its normal shape perfectly. Happy with this product, and after receiving it, I ended up ordering another, this time the 6-inch version, and while that is also a nice option, I like, and feel that the 8-inch version is a better deal. If this toy continues to last for a few more months, I would order another one, as my dog enjoys playing with it. Itโ€™s not her go to toy, but it is one of the few she keeps in playing rotation on a regular basis.
