Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits most Shop-Vac, Vacmaster, and Genie brand wet/dry vacuums 5 gallons and larger.
- Compatible with vacuums that utilize a filter with dimensions of approximately 6 inches in height and 8.25 inches in diameter.
- Designed for models requiring a Type AA 90398 cartridge filter and a 90585 foam sleeve.
When to Replace
- Replace every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage and the type of debris collected.
- Replace immediately if the filter media is torn or damaged.
- Replace if a noticeable decrease in suction power persists after cleaning.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect the vacuum from its power source before filter installation.
- For dry pickup: Place the 90585 foam sleeve over the filter cage, then install the 90398 cartridge filter over the foam sleeve.
- For wet pickup: Use only the 90585 foam sleeve on the filter cage. Remove the cartridge filter.
- If washing the cartridge filter, allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation.

Top-tier engine protection that runs quiet and smooth

I’ve used Castrol EDGE in a couple of our vehicles and always come back to it for consistent performance. It extends the time between oil changes and holds up well under both daily driving and highway mileage. We don't "extend the time" though. It's changed, on the dot, every time. The consistency and quality of the oil's condition at change, though, is easily able to be seen that it would go for much longer.
Engine runs quieter, and I’ve noticed better fuel efficiency over time compared to conventional oil. Whether that's how attentively I drive and watch the mileage meter on the dash or the oil - is up for debate ;)
It doesn’t burn off as quickly either, which is great if you’re keeping an eye on long-term engine health.
The bottle design pours cleanly with a smart spout, which saves unnecessary messes in the garage.

Excellent choice for long oil change intervals.

I'm a former dealership mechanic and for years I used whatever we had in the bulk tank which was usually Valvoline conventional. My last job was at a German car dealership. Castrol was the oil recommended by the German manufacturers and that's when I started using Castrol. In my experience Castrol is an excellent oil. My 2014 Ford just rolled over 242,000 miles and even with factory 10,000 mile oil change intervals, from what I can see through the oil fill the top end of the engine is still clean. I've never had to remove the valve cover. It's using about a quart between oil 10,000 mile oil changes which is great because when it was new it used about a 1/2 quart between changes.
