Medium-bodied, the palate is finely knit and elegant with a firm frame of grainy tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing long and mineral laced.
This famous Pomerol property has been run by the Moueix family since the 1950's and produces a wine that is always a classic of the appellation and keenly sought-after. The vineyard is now 18.7 hectares after more parcels have been purchased on the plateau of Pomerol with lesser sites relegated to Lagrange Pomerol. The vineyard is planted with 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.
