It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even texture. There are hints of gray and brown striping, and a slight bit of black line spalting here and there. This is a pretty spindle of Texas-grown Silver Maple.ย It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even texture.ย There are hints of gray and brown striping, and a slight bit of black-line spalting here and there.ย ย There are occasional small knots of a slightly darker brown color; most of these knots are 1/4" across or less. We've cut these pieces as end-grain pieces, so that the long grain runs parallel to the short dimension of the block.ย In other words, two of the long faces are end-grain faces.ย ย This wood has been fully air-dried to 10-12% moisture content.ย I see no cracks, flaws, or other issues with this block.ย Please scroll down below the first several photos to see all images. |

Good but check screws for looseness, mine had an arm fall off.
Color: Black
A screw fell out and the arm fell off soon after beginning to use them. Aside from that they are fine. Repaired by buying a $10 eyeglass repair kit.

Better than expected!
I initially got these for the look, but they turned out to be pretty solid sunglasses in thr end. They're comfortable, functional and durable, and I'm always getting compliments on them

very large, but otherwise perfect

Was looking for glacier sunglasses, at a reasonable price, and polarized. I found these and bought 4 pairs, one for each family member, for an upcoming trip. Glass look great! They are lightweight, polarized and have the side shields we needed. But, they are huge! All four must be returned. They don't fit any of us. It's a shame...they are perfect, besides the size. But glacier glasses must fit snugly to the face and these are far, far from our skin.

The Best Sunglasses
Color: Black
I was hesitant to purchase these at first. I'm so glad I did, though. They are light-weight, comfortable, and super stylish. I work in the desert, so the side guards are very helpful in keeping the sand and dust out (not entirely, but they help). I will absolutely purchase again.
