Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers
- Replaces any round or oval dual run capacitor with matching 70/5 MFD and 370V or 440V specifications. A 440V capacitor can be used to replace a 370V capacitor.
- Common part number formats include: CBB65, P291-7054R, USA2236, C3705R, C4705R, TRCD705, and CAP05070.
- Compatible replacement for capacitors from brands such as Genteq, Packard, Titan, and TEMCo.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Used in air conditioning units, heat pumps, condensing units, and other HVAC systems to run a compressor motor and a fan motor simultaneously.
- Physical dimensions must be verified for fitment in the existing mounting bracket.
- Diameter: Approx. 2.36 in (60 mm)
- Case Height: Approx. 5.4 in (137 mm)
- The dual voltage rating allows for use in both 370 VAC and 440 VAC applications.
When to Replace
- Compressor or fan motor hums but fails to start.
- AC unit requires a manual "push start" to get the fan spinning.
- Air conditioner blows warm air.
- Visible damage to the capacitor, such as a bulging top, swelling, or fluid leakage.
- Capacitance measurement is outside the rated ±5% tolerance when tested with a multimeter.
Installation Tips
- WARNING: Disconnect all electrical power to the HVAC unit before handling or replacing the capacitor.
- Safely discharge the existing capacitor by carefully shorting across the terminals with an insulated screwdriver.
- Before disconnecting, note the wire colors and their corresponding terminals ("C", "HERM", "FAN").
- Connect the run wire from the compressor to the "HERM" terminal.
- Connect the run wire from the fan motor to the "FAN" terminal.
- Connect the common wire from the contactor to the "C" terminal.
- Ensure all connections are secure before restoring power.

Gorgeous book
Format: Board book
This is one of our favorite books. The illustrations are stunning. It's a total work of art! And the story about changing seasons is lovely. I like that it's a quick read but that there's more than a word or two per page. My 13-month old really loves this book, and because I love it so much too, I always encourage her to bring it over for a read!

beautiful illustrations
Format: Board book
The story is nice, but the real magic is in the illustrations. As a parent, I adore reading this book just for the illustrations; each page is a work of art. Most of the story is about winter, so we are reading it a great deal now (December) to discuss wildlife and how they prepare for winter.
