This iteration merges timeless design aesthetics with contemporary engineering, creating an instrument for players who demand both character and performance.
At the heart of the tone, a 3-piece alder body is treated to Yamaha's Acoustic Design Technology. This proprietary process employs 3D modeling to calculate precise wood-routing patterns, strategically enhancing resonance while reducing overall weight. The result is an instrument that responds with clarity and sustain. The body receives a classic Black gloss finish for a sleek appearance.
The rounded C-profile satin maple neck connects to the body with four bolts. The 25.5-inch scale length provides the standard platform familiar to most electric guitar players, while the maple fingerboard offers clarity and snap. Twenty-two medium jumbo frets span the length, offering easy playability no matter the style of music.
The PACS+11SM gets its voice thanks to the Reflectone pickups. Co-developed with Rupert Neve Designs, a single-coil sits in the bridge while a humbucker holds things down in the neck position. Tone can be further sculpted with the volume, tone, Focus Switch, and 3-way switch controls. Strings are loaded through the Gotoh compensated 3-saddle bridge and rest in the Graph Tech TUSQ nut before being tuned to pitch in the Gotoh locking tuners.
Complete with a gig bag, the Pacifica SC Standard Plus provides the tonal foundation and playability to support your creativity.
