Botanik (English/French version)"Botanik Botanik is a 2 player tile laying and drafting game from Space Cowboys. You play as steam punk style mecha botanics, attempting to connect your pipe tiles and flowers to score the most points. Each set of three or more tiles of the same colour will score points as will any white flowers on the tiles. Each tile must be connected to your starting tile by pipes though, and each flower and vegetable will only score if they are connected to tiles

"Botanik Botanik is a 2 player tile laying and drafting game from Space Cowboys. You play as steam punk style mecha-botanics, attempting to connect your pipe tiles and flowers to score the most points. Each set of three or more tiles of the same colour will score points as will any white flowers on the tiles. Each tile must be connected to your starting tile by pipes though, and each flower and vegetable will only score if they are connected to tiles of the same colour. While scoring may be what we have come to expect, the drafting of the tiles you need is a stroke of brilliance. A board is placed between the players with three rows of 5 spaces. Your row, your opponents row, and a central row. The central row is seeded with 5 tiles and the three more are turned face up to the side of the board. On your turn you choose one of the three tiles and place it either on an empty space on your row, or on top of a stack in the central row. If you place it on your row it must match either the type or colour of the tile in the central row. If you place to the centre row and cause tiles to be unmatched on either your or the other players row, those tiles are pushed off the board and must be placed immediately into your tableau. Tiles don't have to immediately join up to the pipes on your source tile though, giving you the option to risk not scoring a section if you don't manage to join it up by the end! Botanik is a neat, two player game with a great twist on drafting that keeps you engaged through out! Player count: 2 Time: 20 minutes Age rating: 12+"
