For school-age children, the device offers pure-tone audiometry corresponding to the paediatric directive. The pilot hearing test includes an LED colour display, inviting the child to point to various terms in accordance with the test. This not only shows whether the child understands voiced instructions, but also whether it understands what the speaker is asking.
