The development of Surrealism in the 1920s and 30s coincided with that of important new research and knowledge in the sciences, notably in biology. Forbidden Territories explores the unexamined interplay between Surrealism and life science, including the mutual influence of Sigmund Freud, illuminating how Surrealist strategies draw the eye to the astonishing aspects of scientific data and knowledge of the landscape, in ways that are prescient, even revelatory, in the present.
The book further looks at the role of international conflict within Surreal landscapes and how these terrains became a vehicle for political statements and dissent. Finally, it expands on the Surrealist mythologization of the unconscious as a great ocean 'where the sharks of madness cruise', analysing the 'ecology of the mind', examining links between bodies of water and psycho-surreal worlds in poetry, paintings and photographs from the unique perspective of female Surrealist artists.
Spanning the movement, this survey includes works by Eileen Agar, Leonora Carrington, Salvador DalÃ, Max Ernst, Man Ray, Lee Miller and Yves Tanguy as well as interventions by contemporary artists working within the lasting legacy of Surrealism, such as Maria Berrio and Michael Dean.

This suit was truly great, the size for the pants and the vest were pretty on point, maybe a little long for the pants. The jacket was way too big though compared to the rest. Overall pretty good suit for the price, very surprised at the build quality and faabrics.

Good quality and cannot beat the value you get with a suit

I recently purchased the WEEN CHARM Men's Suits Slim Fit for my son's homecoming and I must say, I am impressed with the quality and fit of this suit.
Firstly, the material used in this suit is of exceptional quality. The fabric feels soft and smooth, and it has a nice weight to it which gives it a luxurious feel. The suit doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all.
The slim fit design is impeccable. It hugs my son's body in all the right places, giving him a sharp and stylish look. The suit is tailored to perfection and accentuates his physique beautifully.
I also appreciate the attention to detail in the craftsmanship. The stitching is neat and sturdy, and there were no loose threads or flaws that I could find. The suit looks like it was made with care and precision.
Additionally, the suit was surprisingly comfortable. My son didn't complain about any discomfort or restriction of movement throughout the evening, which is always a plus.
The only reason I haven't given it a five-star rating is because the suit did require some minor alterations for a perfect fit. Nonetheless, this is a small inconvenience considering the overall satisfaction we had with this purchase.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the WEEN CHARM Men's Suits Slim Fit. It is a stylish, well-made suit that will definitely make a statement at any formal event. My son looked dashing in it and received many compliments.

Fit like a glove and soft to the touch.
Size: Small, Color: Black
My son loved the suit. It was not itchy. The fabric was soft. He did not like the vest but it is because he normally wears baggy clothes. He did not want a slim fit suit but he ended feeling good in it. For the price you can't miss. He is 140 lbs and is 5'7". We used the sizing chart for reference and bought size small. The length and waist of the pants were perfect and the arms were just right.
