Installation
- Difficulty: Intermediate (welding required)
- Welder Setup: Correct heat/input — start your puddle on the tube to avoid warping threads
- Do Not: Do not weld with the rod end threaded inside — different cooling rates can seize parts
- Cool Down: Allow the bung/tube to cool completely before threading rod ends into the adapter
- General: Prep/clean tube I.D.; ensure concentric fit; tack, check alignment, then stitch-weld in short passes
Ream/clean threads after welding if needed. Anti-seize is recommended on initial assembly.
Pair RH with an LH adapter on the opposite end to enable on-bar length adjustments without removing the link. Ask us about FFS Professional Installation services.
