The album was inspired by the now-defunct amusement park Six Flags Astroworld in Houston, Texas, where Scott grew up.

'ASTROWORLD' debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and received multiple award nominations, including a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Album.
