This system features 3.5" quad Ceramic Black on T-304 stainless steel tips, but is also available with polished T-304 stainless steel tips. For ease of installation, this Cat-Back(tm) is a direct bolt on part and does not require cutting. Like all BORLA(r) exhaust products, each system is handmade in the USA by master craftspeople and features premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel construction. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow & power, and precision computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit. Would be better with longer cable and without the LED light.
I like that the install is very easy, non-permanent, and can be very quickly removed if needed. It fast charges and the magnets are strong (the reviews that say it doesn’t hold probably aren’t using a MagSafe case).
That said I have two annoying issues:
1) There is a light that comes on when the car is turned on. If you don’t put your phone on the charger it will say on for a minute or two and then eventually turn off.
2) The included USB-C cable is too short. It only just barely reaches the outlet in the front bottom center console. It would be better if they had included a 6ft with a 90-deg connector to draw power from the back seat ports.
3) It doesn’t not include a charger.
In all, the mount and charger are fine, but be prepared to spend an extra $20 on a longer cable and charger to make it all work.
