This Kamel på Möllan print is one of my most talked-about pieces. And I’ve noticed Malmö locals have weirdly advanced map awareness.

During exhibitions, I’ve seen people lean in, point, and say, “Wait, I know this spot!” and even pinpoint the exact street. One person laughed and said, “I’ve sat in that car, and by the way, it’s actually blue.” (Admittedly true.) Another proudly claimed they know the exact number plate of that very car.

Then come the camel questions, or rather, the questions about the camel butt, which somehow always steal the attention. “Was it really there? Or did you add it digitally?” (I’ll let you wonder.)

The photo was taken at St Knut in Malmö, a place full of color, charm... and warm-hearted people with absurdly good city-spotting instincts.
