Discover the critical examination in 'Are Chief Executives Overpaid?' by Deborah Hargreaves, where the shocking reality of executive compensation is unveiled. In a time when wages for the majority have stagnated, Hargreaves exposes how top CEOs make in just days what most earn in an entire year. This essential read delves into the reasons behind the explosive growth of executive pay over the last two decades, providing a rigorous critique of the income disparity that destabilizes our economy and erodes social cohesion. With a particular focus on the top 0.1%, the book shatters the myths surrounding the justification of exorbitant executive salaries and the flawed logic of a 'winner-takes-all' economy. Explore compelling narratives and practical solutions that challenge the status quo and encourage a reevaluation of value and worth in corporate leadership. Ideal for economists, business leaders, and anyone interested in social justice, this book is a must-have for understanding the complexities of income inequality. Description:
Wages for the majority have been stagnant for decades, but a lucky few have enjoyed a pay bonanza. Top company bosses take home in several days as much as most people earn in a whole year. In this hard-hitting book, Deborah Hargreaves explains why pay for the top 0.1% has sky-rocketed in the past 20 years. She gives a devastating account of how it has created a vicious circle that destabilizes our economy and undermines social cohesion, demolishing the twisted logic of the chief executives who say: ÂI™m worth it™, when that means raking in Ă‚Ĺ70m a year. A rigorous exposĂ© of the dysfunctional nature of our Âwinner-takes-all™ economy, this book debunks the myths behind top pay and examines a range of pragmatic solutions.

Irritated skin and too expensive
Size: 1.7 Ounce (Pack of 1)
It’s a good sunscreen. I like the smell and the consistency. However, I live in Denver, CO and it didn’t seem to protect my skin as much as I would like. It also eventually started drying out my skin and gave me a small rash that cleared up as soon as I stopped using it. This could be my personal experience, but it was too expensive and too small of a tube for me to justify continuing use.

Dewy and Effective Finish
Size: 1.7 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I recently started using the Cocoonkind SPF, and I’m really impressed with this product! It provides excellent sun protection without the greasy or heavy feeling that some sunscreens can leave behind. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving it feeling soft and hydrated. I also love that it’s made with clean, natural ingredients—knowing that it’s cruelty-free and free of harmful chemicals gives me peace of mind. The finish is dewy but not shiny, making it perfect for daily use under makeup or on its own. I’ve been using it every day, and it’s become a staple in my skincare routine. If you’re looking for a clean, effective sunscreen that provides great protection while nourishing your skin, I highly recommend Cocoonkind SPF! It’s gentle, effective, and perfect for all skin types.
