The RAM® Tough-Mag™ Magnetic Window Mount (RAM-MAG48-4U) consists of a steel plate with four magnetic ends and four 48mm external magnets for mounting on a window, or any other flat glass surface.

 

The plate contains pre-drilled 4-hole AMPS and VESA patterns for attaching a recommended C, or D size drill-down ball base. The base is designed with rubber coated magnets to prevent scratching the mounting surface and reduce the impact of the jarring magnetic pull. Each external magnet includes a handle in order to easily install the base to a window. Compatible with any sturdy, flat surface up to 6mm in thickness.

Overall this is a very good product

I bought this because every sunblock I own eventually gets in my eyes and burns the living daylights out of them. I prefer to use something that isn't laden with chemicals, is cruelty free and reef safe so this looked like it would fit the bill and indeed, it does. It is a true "no tears" formula which I very much appreciate. As with so many zinc based sunblocks there's still a slight "Kabuki mask" effect but it isn't as bad as some of the other zinc products. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's easy to spread because it doesn't have a lot of "slip", doesn't glide like the non-zinc products. You do have to work with it for awhile to get rid of the decidedly chalky consistency but once you get going it seems to be okay. I think somebody else mentioned using a moisturizer before you put it on which seems like good idea even though this is supposed to be moisturizing. Would I purchase this again? I'm pretty sure I will because the "no tears" aspect of the product is important to me. I'll probably use it with a light carrier oil on my face first, let that oil sink in and then put this on top. I'll keep you posted on how that works out. Thank you, Alba Botanica, for being cruelty free and reef safe!
