Let me tell you all about Remix and Remix Light:
Remix and Remix Light use a soft, comfortable blend of nylon, cotton, acrylic, silk and linen. A tweedy, rustic look makes these yarns ideal for casual knits, and their machine washability means any garment will be low maintenance and hard-wearing. And, can you say "Baby" anything? The original Remix comes in an abundant 216 yard ball and knits to a worsted weight gauge, while Remix Light knits to a DK weight gauge and contains an incredible 432 yards per 100g ball and Remix Chunky coming in at 139 yds. Finished garments are immediately cozy, with the feeling of well-loved jeans or your favorite old tee-shirt.
Reduce, reuse, recycle.
How are you greening your knitting? Reducing doesn’t seem like much fun, and reusing generally means you’ve had to rip out a failing project, a painful part of any knitter’s process. Enter Remix, a 100% recycled Berroco yarn made using a low-impact manufacturing process patented in France. Remix was the result of over a year of collaborative work between mill and textile engineers.
How is it made?
Garments and high-quality commercially knit fabric panels left over from the ready-to-wear industry are collected from across Europe and sorted by fiber, then color. Because these pieces are pre-dyed, there is no need to dye them again, which saves water and prevents water pollution. Instead, colors are created by carefully blending garnetted fibers. Garnetted fiber is the result of shredding old textiles to make a new, fleece-like fiber that is ready to be spun into a new yarn.

Look nice.
These were really nice for canned oysters, way better than what we can get in the stores in our area. Perfect for milk based oyster soup! the ratio is one can of cream of mushroom, one can full of milk, one can of oysters. Add butter, salt, pepper, and bring to a boil.

Does the job
Tastes like boiled oysters, so it has that nailed down.
I use it in my shrimp ramen noodles sometimes, sometimes I use it to flavor garnish dishes.
Best price I could find, but apparently it is a specialty product.

Unparalleled source of heme iron.
This stuff is medicine if your are anemic or have low serum iron. Elemental iron from veggies or pills must be prepared by your body to carry oxygen in hemoglobin. Not so with iron from animals and oysters are unparalleled in iron content. Even if you don't find them delicious you will find them efficacious.

Do not recommend
