Completely redesigned for modern skateboarding, the all-new Skate Classics collection delivers more of what skateboarders need to enable maximum progression. 

The repositioned DURACAP™ reinforced underlays and fully redesigned uppers, combined with a new two-part foxing tape that features a deeper knurl pattern on the toe, make the new Skate Slip-On durable enough to withstand daily skateboarding abuse. For more board control, the new molded heel counter and internal tongue straps lock in your feet. Even the gum rubber sole that made Vans famous has been elevated with the SICKSTICK™ rubber compound to deliver more grip and boardfeel. Plus, POPCUSH™ energy return sockliners provide superior cushioning and impact protection while helping to lessen leg fatigue for longer skate sessions. Internal heel stiffeners have also been added to provide more support and stability.

The new Skate Slip-On’s updated foxing tape and sturdy suede and canvas uppers give you the iconic look you want while bringing all the performance benefits skateboarders demand.               I am thrilled to have found one toy my dogs don’t destroy immediately. They have torn up Fenrir hammers, the black kongs of all sizes, the monster k9 stick, nylabones, and they don’t like the goughnut at all (it stinks like a bad tire). This is the first one they both love and haven’t been able to destroy immediately. It does allow little tooth marks, but that’s what makes it fun for them. They are very happy playing with it and I’d say this one was worth every dollar. Update Months Later: We’ve gone through 2/3 now. I got two initially, and one has lasted long term. They still haven’t completely destroyed it. They did destroy a second one quickly so I suspect a flaw in it. They sent me a new one and they took a while, but they did destroy the third to the point we had to throw it away. Despite that, one still remains and our dogs still love it. It’s still the best for the money compared to others. We have two Bully XL’s that are each close to 100 pounds.

              This thing is unexpectedly heavy for its size. My 18 month old Giant Schnauzer is obsessed with fetch but destroys every ball she gets. The other brands marketed for extreme chewers tend to last about a day or two before they’re totally shredded. She’s had this one for about 2 weeks and it’s looking rough, but still holding together for the most part. I appreciate that as it comes apart it does so in little pieces rather than large chunks. While it’s far from indestructible, it’s the strongest I’ve found so far.
