With the FJ60 Fusible Links now no longer available from Toyota, we wanted to put together a high quality Do-it-yourself repair kit to be able to service and rebuild your existing connectors.
This kit comes with:
-Genuine Yakazi fusible link wire in the correct gauge.
-New Sumitomo Terminals for both sides of the connectors.
-New Sumitomo Rubber waterproof shields.
-Fiberglass protection sleeves
To rebuild you will need to take photos of your current link set-up. De pin the connectors and clean them to re-use. Helpful video HERE
Assemble your fusible link wired in the fiberglass sheath, then add waterproof shields to each end. Strip the ends of your link wires and double check your orientation to your original photo prior to crimping your connectors on. Repin your connectors and reinstall your refreshed fusible link!
