Batch of Texas Ebony 3 10" boards 1.2 lbs. This is a batch of three small pieces of Texas Ebony. They are a bit over 10" long. Width is 1.7", thickness is 0.5". They're intended for knife scales, and we've left them extra long so that you can select the best grain patterns for use in your knife making. This set is long enough to produce two 5" long sets of knife scales. It might give you three, depending on how you choose your scales. This set of knife scales has a beautiful mix of heartwood and sapwood. The contrast is striking! Note that the sapwood is a very soft and probably will need to be scraped off. The heartwood is a dark chocolate brown. There are a few cracks that you may wish to treat (CA glue). The boards are cut from the same piece of wood, so you can bookmatch if you wish. Each scale is 1/2" thick, so that the full stack is 1.55" thick. These have been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. I take lots of photos, so please scroll down past the first three photos for additional images. I take close-ups of any areas of concern. |

Beautifully done!

This sweet book is such a beautiful update of a classic song! The new verses celebrate all children exactly as God made them, with joyful photos that show real kids from different backgrounds and abilities.
