  • Take the guess work out of load height measurement or measuring access clearance. A simple flip of the 950mm long, over-centre measuring arm locks it in position and is secured by a further catch. A foam-covered tip to prevent damage to painted surfaces or vehicle bodywork.
  • An easy-to-read dual measurement scale in both imperial and metric. Imperial scale one side, metric on the other. Full operating instruction provided in a pocket on the outside on the storage/carrying holdall. Red storage/carry bag stores both the stick, bubble level, instructions, and a spare locking button.
  • Each section fully extends and then locks into position via the spring-loaded locking push buttons. Extends in 4 separate sections, first section locks in position at 220cm, second at 317cm, third at 414cm, fifth at 500cm. These are the heights displayed as each section locks into place. The height can be accurately displayed at any point before this by reading the scale at the top of the un-extended sections. Please see the instructions for full details
  • A circular bubble level attaches to the main body to ensure the over centre arm is level and the stick is straight when measuring As Used By: Police & Fire services, Ferry Operators, Multi-vehicle transporters, Vehicle recovery Abnormal load carriers, Hay & straw bale hauliers, can be used in any application where the load or vehicle height needs to be checked
  • Standard minimum clearance of an unmarked bridge over the public highway is 16’6’’ (5.03m). Bridges with headroom less than this value should be signed to identify the maximum height of a vehicle which can safely pass on the carriageway under the bridge without impacting on it. Aluminium construction, when in use please be aware of your surroundings, do not contact with any overhead wires or electrical equipment
