This new addition to the American Professional Classic line from Fender takes the beloved American Professional Classic and adds the all-new Fender Silent System – a patent pending, battery-free, passive system that eliminates single-coil hum. This Tele gets its single-cutaway shape from a slab alder body – a classic Fender tonewood known for resonance, clarity, and punch. The is sports a dashing Sonic Blue finish and is stylized with a 3-ply mint green pickguard and nickel/chrome hardware. It's body is loaded with a set of Coastline '63 Single-Coil Telecaster single-coil pickups that deliver signature '60s style twang. The electronics are completed by the addition of the all new Fender Silent System and the Greasebucket tone system – great for taming treble frequencies at all volume levels while preserving a full, balanced sound.
Bolted to the body, a 25.5-inch scale length Modern "C" satin maple neck offers easy playability. The 9.5-inch radius rosewood fingerboard is crowned by 22 medium jumbo frets, providing fast fretting and easy bending. The strings are loaded through the 3-saddle vintage-style bridge, rest in the synthetic bone nut slots, and are strung to pitch with the ClassicGear Staggered tuning machines. Included is a gig bag to keep it safe on the road or at home.
