Vinificatie:
De oogst wordt handmatig toegepast. Onder lage temperatuur weken de schillen van de verdejo druiven, om vervolgens geperst te worden en te vergisten op houtenfusten. Tijdens dit vergisting proces worden de gistcellen geroerd, dit heet batonnage. Hierdoor wordt de wijn voller en ronder. Deze periode van rijping duurt 7 maanden.

Romige gerechten zoals pasta’s en risotto. Ideaal in combinatie met asperges of curry.

Achtergrondinformatie:
Bodegas Naia ligt in La Seca, in het hart van het historische wijngebied Rueda. Ook wel bekend als dé Grand Cru van het Rueda gebied. De wijngaard is eigendom van Bodegas Naia en 23,5 hectare groot. Het wijnhuis heeft wijnstokken van maar liefst 80 tot 130 jaar oud. Door de ligging van de wijngaarden, de rijke grond, een uitzonderlijk goed klimaat en oude wijnstokken, is wijnmaker Laura Sanz in perfecte staat om de beste wijnen van de regio te maken. De wijnen hebben een complexe, terroir gedreven karakter met verfrissende aroma’s.
