The KMP Drivetrain Clubsport Steering Wheel for the BMW F8X delivers the perfect balance between street usability and motorsport functionality. Designed with both factory controls and racing essentials (optional), the Clubsport model integrates seamlessly with your BMW, making it an ideal choice for drivers looking to bridge high-performance racing with everyday driving comfort.


Unique Button Layout and Full Factory Control Integration

The BMW F8X Clubsport Steering Wheel includes 10 push buttons and 2 rotary switches with push buttons, ensuring a comprehensive control setup. Laser-etched symbols and LED illumination, with all factory steering functions built directly into the wheel:

  • Rotary Switch 1: Scroll Up / Scroll Down | Press
  • SW1: Volume –
  • SW2: Volume +
  • SW3: Mode
  • SW4: Horn
  • SW5: Phone [Speak]
  • SW6: M2
  • SW7: M1
  • SW8: Reset
  • SW9: Cruise
  • SW10: LIM (SET)
  • Rotary Switch 2: Speed+/Speed- | +10

This fixed layout is plug and play with no wiring or coding required, an airbag resistor is included. The Clubsport line is ideal for drivers who are looking for full integration of factory controls in a motorsport-inspired design.


Optional Clubsport Nürburgring Edition

For drivers who prioritise racing control buttons (push to pass flash, wipers, Code 60 and more) the KMP Clubsport Nürburgring Steering Wheel BMW F8X provides a similar fixed layout with a focus on core racing functionalities, offering a streamlined experience with quick access to the most essential controls on track.


Optional PRO-Line for Added Personalisation

Whilst the Clubsport models buttons can be customised they were designed with preselected layouts in mind. If you are looking for a completely custom configuration KMP Pro-Line Steering Wheel BMW F8X M2/M3/M4 offers the opportunity to personalise button functions to fit specific driving needs, creating a uniquely tailored experience.


Premium Design and Finish Options

Finishes in Suede, Alcantara, or Leather

The standard options are high quality suede, alcantara or leather with a yellow 12 o'clock marker and black stitching. For added personalisation, drivers can choose custom options such as the 12 o’clock marker, stitching colour and grey alcantara for a small additional cost (£60).

For example on our own steering wheel we choose Grey 9002 Alcantara, BMW M Tri Colour stitching and removed the 12 o'clock marker. Options are subject to availability by KMP.

High-Tactile Magnetic Paddles and Illuminated Buttons

The Clubsport Steering Wheel features KMP’s high-tactile carbon fibre magnetic paddles for precise shifting and responsive control. The push buttons are laser-etched and illuminated, dimming in sync with interior lighting for enhanced aesthetics and functionality.


Installation and Optional Components

The BMW F8X Clubsport Steering Wheel is straightforward to install, providing a plug-and-play experience with no wiring required and no error codes to manage. Each kit includes the steering wheel, fixed hub and airbag resistor. To suit specific setups, you can add:

  • Crash-Hub (compatible with TÜV regulations)
  • Quick Release with Integrated Connector – For complete wheel removal and a quick, secure connection with a Deutsch Autosport connector.

Please Note: All adapter/boss options still retain factory steering column adjustment.

*for non M models or those without M1 & M2 buttons, these will still illuminate just not function, if you would like to change these buttons to something else this can be done for an additional £350.

Do one oil change myself and it’s more than paid for.

It is 74 mm. It’s nicely made of cast aluminum. It has a rough cast finish so it shouldn’t be difficult to hold on to. It does fit my Lexus filter and the price is very reasonable. It also fits the oil filter on my 1999 (antique) Harley Davidson Heritage Classic. Which is the primary reason I ordered it. I don’t know this for certain but I suspect it will fit all HD EVO engines. That would be 1984 through 1998 except the Heritage which didn’t change to the 88 Twin Cam until 2000.
