The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! There's a swelling on the backside of this blank that looks like early growth of a burl the grain is swirling but not quite burly in the parts that have been cut so far. | UFO Peach Bowl Blank Ph-430 7" x 9" x 10" 8.9 lbs. This is a sizeable bowl blank of Texas-grown UFO Peach wood. It has gorgeous grain and hints of spalting. The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! There's a swelling on the backside of this blank that looks like early growth of a burl -- the grain is swirling but not quite burly in the parts that have been cut so far. The inside of it may be surprisingly pretty. There is some spalting and bug-assisted decay, but the wood has plenty of integrity. There are also some minor drying checks. You may want to touch up with CA glue as you go. This wood was from a tree grown in Katy, Texas. It died during the Valentine's Day freeze of 2021. We cut and sealed it with Anchor Seal shortly after it died, then let it rest and spalt for about a year before processing it. We have very limited quantities of this unusual-to-Texas wood. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried bowl blank, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed on all surfaces with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It has been heat-treated to eliminate any gnawing critters. It was measured at ~25% MC in May 2022. LOVE THEM!!

LOVE! These socks are so comfortable! I wear a 5 in women's and a 3 in big kid shoes. The small fit me perfectly. I see where some say they run small but I can't say that was an issue for me. They are "snug" but thats what you want with a no show sock. I feel they have support vs the ones i used to buy at Walmart. They are very soft! I am actually buying more today and throwing my other ones in the trash!

So will not write down your foot

Comfy and Stay Put

These socks are honestly great. They’re super thin and light, so once you have them on, you kind of forget they’re even there. No bulky feeling in your shoes at all.
The best part is they actually stay on. I hate no-show socks that slide down after five minutes, and these don’t do that. The little grip on the heel really works, so you’re not constantly adjusting them all day.
They’re breathable too, which is nice if your feet run warm. They dry fast and don’t get that gross sweaty feeling. And there’s no annoying seam on the toe, so nothing rubs or feels uncomfortable.
Basically, they’re just comfy, stay put, and don’t cause problems — which is all I want from socks.
