Benefits

Only 1 in 4 adults eat the recommended 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Eating more fruit and veggies is always a good idea but for those times when you don't quite make it, a greens supplement is a great way to top up.

Our Organic Wholefood Multivitamax is an all-natural food supplement, formulated just as nature intended. This herbal food combination contains some of nature’s most nutrient-dense herbs, resulting in a potent multivitamin and multi-mineral supplement.

Our super blend provides a comprehensive broad spectrum of all the essential nutrients, phytochemicals, dietary fibre, beneficial oils, vitamins, and minerals required to keep the body at optimum health.

Why Is Whole Food Multivitamax So Great?

Man-made vitamins and minerals tend not to be readily absorbed by the body, because they are not balanced nutrients - in other words, the body does not know how to deal with them and therefore cannot use them properly and will simply pass through the body unabsorbed.

Our whole foods, balanced by nature, in its natural food organic state can provide your body with the nutrients and energy needed to offset ailments and to achieve optimum health.

How Does Whole Food Multivitamax Detox The Body?

Our green super blend formula contains algae and green vegetables that are rich in vitamins A and C and help defend your body against environmental stressors such as pollution.

A variety of heavy metals are present in the environment which can accumulate in the body. Over time, excessive exposure to heavy metals can overwhelm the body and may contribute to inflammation and an increased risk of heart disease. Studies have shown that chlorella and spirulina can collect these metals and stop them from building up in soft tissue. In addition, chlorella has shown to increase the activity of natural killer cells, a type of white blood cell that protects us against infection.

Ingredients

Pre-sprouted activated barley: a slow-release, low glycemic index, healthy carbohydrate source, and all-around superfood. It is rich in beta-glucan, dietary fibre, highly bioavailable proteins, essential fats, enzymes, and minerals.

Alfalfa: the roots of this sprout penetrate sub-soil as far as 125 feet thereby enabling it to absorb vital nutrients and 10 times more minerals than others. This sprout contains 8 essential enzymes. It also includes vitamin A (B-carotene), B6, C, D, E, K, and P. Plus it includes mineral nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, and potassium.

Barley grass: contains concentrated levels of vitamins, mineral nutrients, amino acids, enzymes, and chlorophyll. It is 7 times richer in vitamin C than oranges, 5 times richer in iron than spinach, and has 25 times the potassium found in wheat.

Kelp: Sea kelp is a natural source of vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D, and E, as well as minerals including zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron, potassium, copper, and calcium. In fact, it contains the highest natural concentration of calcium of any food - 10 times more than milk.

Spirulina: a highly nutritious food derived from plant plankton; a blue-green micro-algae, spirulina contains no less than 18 amino acids, including 8 essential amino acids which the body cannot produce from its own resources and have to be replaced daily by food. Rich in beta-carotene, vitamin E, vitamin F factor (GLA), and iron, it grows naturally on alkaline lakes for its high-level protein, vitamins, and minerals. 100g of spirulina yields 50-70% protein. Its exceptional levels of vitamin B12 is of special interest to vegetarians, vegans, and non-meat eaters who, unless they study their diets carefully, may be deficient in this important vitamin.

Wheatgrass: rich in chlorophyll, plant protein, enzymes, and a broad spectrum of vitamins (including vitamins A, C, K, E, and all the B vitamins) and trace minerals (including iron, phosphate, boron, copper, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, chromium, manganese and zinc). It is also an important source of superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzyme that may play an important role in detoxification of the body.

Bilberry: one of the richest natural sources of anthocyanin, which is an antioxidant that provides it with its dark blue color. Along with anthocyanin, a range of vital nutrients including vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E, and K. The minerals present in bilberries are chromium, manganese, zinc, and iron.

Lemon peel: packed with beneficial nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, carotenoids, and flavonoids, as well as dietary fibre. Vitamins A and C, calcium, potassium, and fibre in the peel can support the function of the heart, nerves, muscles, digestive system, eyes and bones.

Beetroot: has a high iron content and is rich in silicic acids, dietary nitrate, selenium, betaine, vitamins A, C and E, flavonoids, antioxidants, and fibre.

Carrot: gets its characteristic and bright orange colour from ß-carotene, which is metabolised into vitamin A in humans when bile salts are present in the intestines. Carrots are also rich in dietary fibre, antioxidants, minerals, essential enzymes, and vitamins, including vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin K, biotin, potassium, and thiamine. Carrots also contain lignin (which helps to strengthen the immune system) and folic acid (which helps to fight against harmful free radicals).

Spinach: has a high nutritional value and is extremely rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, B2, B6, B9 C, E, and K, lutein, magnesium, manganese, folate, betaine, iron, calcium, potassium, folic acid, copper, protein, phosphorus, zinc, niacin, selenium and Omega 3 oils.

Dandelion root: a rich source of vitamins A, C, D, and B complex vitamins, as well as minerals such as iron, potassium, and zinc. It has traditionally been used to support healthy fluid balance in the body and as a natural helper for the stomach and digestive system. It also provides support for the liver and gallbladder, by helping to clear toxins.

Green tea leaf: an exceptionally good source of antioxidants and alkaloids. In fact, the key active component in green tea, epigallocatechin-3- gallate (EGCG), is many times more potent in terms of its antioxidant capacity than even vitamin C or vitamin E. It also contains various vitamins (such as vitamin A, D, E, C, B, H, and K) and minerals (such as manganese, zinc, chromium, and selenium).

Turmeric: perhaps most commonly associated with its anti-inflammatory actions on the body. Studies have shown that curcumin, a polyphenol compound in turmeric, may reduce inflammation. As well as better regulation of inflammation, the other potential benefits of turmeric include fighting the effects of oxidation (antioxidant activity), more stable blood sugar and fat levels, and improved brain levels of the omega-3 fatty acid called DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of curcumin have also been associated with improved regulation of blood pressure and decreased risk of several types of cardiovascular disease.

    Has no oily scent.
Scent: Earthy, Nutty, Refreshing, Size: 4.06 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Just started using it. Smells like oil not over powering. The quality is rich and it’s not runny oily. For the size of it’ll last couple months. Worth the price.

    Great For Dry Hair
I've never tried Batana Oil before, so I had no idea what to expect. It's a great oil for my hair. I love that it is all-natural oil and is more like a paste. It spreads easily on my hair. I love that I can put a tiny bit on my finger and rub it directly into my dry scalp. The oil has an interesting but pleasant smell. It's hard to describe. It reminds me a bit of a cross between coffee and cacao, but more nutty and mild. I like it. It's not too strong. The directions say to apply and leave in for 20 minutes, then wash out with a sulfate-free shampoo. I like to leave it in my hair for a day or two before washing it again. It's a great conditioning oil for dry and damaged hair. It might feel heavy on fine or thin hair, but I like it on my medium-thick hair. The only reason I dropped this a star is that I'm dubious of the claim that it promotes hair growth. I think it helps my dry hair from breaking off, but I don't think it can do much for most hair loss. However, for hair conditioning, this is definitely a five star product.

Single-ingredient moisturizing treatment with a pleasant smell
When this is described as "batana oil," that's exactly what it is. Not a dozen other ingredients with just a little bit of batana, no colors or fragrances, just batana oil. I love that about this. It's easy to use, just melt it into you hands and massage it into your scalp and hair. Folks with long hair would do well to concentrate on the ends since that's where you're less likely to get natural oil from your scalp to help keep the hair healthy. Leave it in for a bit, then wash it off in the shower with shampoo. Not at all complicated. I loved how my scalp felt afterward, definitely less itchy and "tight." as far as regrowing any hair or anything, I think the only thing that would help me is a miracle, so I'm not basing my review on that. The smell is nutty and very nice. Similar to the roasty notes of coffee or chocolate. Very pleasant and not "chemical" or perfumey smelling.
